DriveWorksXpress comes free with every seat of SolidWorks, so it is fitting that at this year’s SolidWorks World you can take part in a hands-on training session with DriveWorks Reseller CATI.
Ryan Dally, DriveWorks product manager at CATI, has over 19 years of SolidWorks experience and specialises in design automation and project implementation.
This hands on training session for DriveWorks beginners will train you in automating your SolidWorks designs in DriveWorksXpress. By the end of the session, those who attend should be able to begin automating designs for their own companies. It’s a great opportunity to learn a new skill and add even more value to your seat of SolidWorks.
Automating your SolidWorks designs can reduce repetition, saving you time and money. Companies such as Mondragon Assembly have used DriveWorksXpress to reduce their design times from 2 days to just 10 minutes or less.
One of Mondragon’s engineers explains that “It took around six weeks [for me to set it up] including how to use DriveWorksXpress”
So if you haven’t used DriveWorksXpress before, or if you have just got your copy of SolidWorks, then you should come on Monday to see Ryan’s hands on training session which will be located in Room 33b from 2:45 to 3:45PM.
