Whilst our Tech Team are busy preparing technical training sessions for DriveWorks World, we’re taking a break from our Tech Team Thursday webinar series. We’ll be back after DriveWorks World with a great new series including new and exciting content! This is a great opportunity for you to catch up on any sessions you may have missed by visiting the technical webinar library in the DriveWorks Community.

Every year at DriveWorks we celebrate pancake day at lunchtime, flipping, topping and enjoying pancakes together. Everyone has a different flipping technique and we’re divided when it comes to choosing the best topping too. Ruby would be happy to take any pancake though!

DriveWorks World 2019 is getting closer and nearby hotels are filling up fast, make sure you book asap! To help you find the right place for you, we’ve put together a list of nearest hotels. This month the two SOLIDWORKS User Groups (SWUG) in the UK got together for their final meetings of the year. We went along to both of them, meeting fellow users, sponsoring the meetings and presenting too. The first meeting, UK SWUG NW, got together at DriveWorks HQ on December 3rd. Then SWUGN London met at Plexal on December 5th.

SOLIDWORKS World 2019 in Dallas will be DriveWorks’ 16th year at SOLIDWORKS World! The event takes place from 10th – 13th February 2019 at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center. We’re excited to be a part of the action again – sponsoring, exhibiting, presenting, listening and learning!

Members of the DriveWorks team have taken part in Movember for the past few years. This year though there were more people taking part than ever before so they set themselves an ambitious target of raising £1500! After 30 days of growing the mo’s were looking pretty good, and so was their fundraising – this year, they have raised over £2,000! Well done everyone for raising money for such a great cause and thank you to everyone who helped the team exceed their target by donating and supporting!
