The Cheshire & Warrington Pledge hosted a Celebration Event to look back at their accomplishments over the last 3 years, share their plans for the future and present awards to say thank you to the people and businesses who have supported them. What Happened at IronSWUG 2022
After 2 plus years of (mostly) virtual SOLIDWORKS User Group Meetings, we were excited to join Brad Meador and Adam Ebernickel as they travelled over 2,000 miles by motorcycle to present at 6 SWUG meetings covering 4 states – for the very first IronSWUG Tour.

This year, DriveWorks reseller, Coffee GmbH is celebrating an incredible 25 years in industry! Coffee GmbH first became a DriveWorks reseller 5 years ago and has been successfully selling and supporting DriveWorks software ever since. This IWED, we’re celebrating some of the inspirational and empowering women in our community who work within the engineering field. Amee Meghani is Director of Engineering, South Region at GoEngineer and is a huge advocate for STEM, aiming to show young children the variety of career options available in STEM fields.

This IWED, we’re celebrating some of the inspirational and empowering women in our community who work within the engineering field. After being inspired by her dad from a young age, Julie went on to attend the University of Sunderland to study Automotive Engineering. She now works at Jaguar Land Rover and has recently been recognised as Automotive News Europe’s, rising star 2022.

This IWED, we’re celebrating some of the inspirational and empowering women in our community who work within the engineering field. Tracy Wettig is Mid-Atlantic Technical Manager at TriMech. During her time at TriMech Tracy has achieved so much and is a great advocate for STEM.

International Women in Engineering Day – Betty Baker
This IWED, we’re celebrating some of the inspirational and empowering women in our community who work within the engineering field. Betty Baker is Domestic Casegoods Product Engineer at Ashley Furniture. Betty was the only female mechanical engineer to graduate from her class. She was also the first female product engineer hired at Ashley Furniture Industries, Inc., over 35 years ago.

International Women in Engineering Day – Christine Miska
This IWED, we’re celebrating some of the inspirational and empowering women in our community who work within the engineering field. In her current job role, Christine leads all the engineering efforts within the CEMA business at BAE Systems. Christine is also the proud founder and coach of the FIRST® Robotics Competition team 4905.

International Women in Engineering Day – Ashley Smale
This IWED, we’re celebrating some of the inspirational and empowering women in our community who work within the engineering field. Currently, Ashley is transitioning from one role to another inside Regal Rexnord. Ashley was the Manager of Engineering Projects – Automation for their Energy (coupling products) sector and is now moving to become the Program Manager for the new Industrial Powertrain team.

This IWED, we’re celebrating some of the inspirational and empowering women in our community who work within the engineering field. Colleen Coble is an Enterprise Services Specialist at Hawk Ridge Systems. In this role, she focuses mainly on DriveWorks projects for their customers. Colleen graduated from Millersville University of Pennsylvania with a degree in Applied Engineering.

This IWED, we’re celebrating some of the inspirational and empowering women in our community who work within the engineering field. Leah is a design and systems engineer at ColePak Inc. She is responsible for optimising company processes and workflow, as well as aiding in the creation of product drawings.

DriveWorks Drivers June 16th Meeting Round Up
On June 16th, we hosted the 2nd DriveWorks Drivers meeting of the year. During these meetings, we hosted technical presentations from the UK, France and the US. We had over 70 users registered for these meetings and some really good discussions were had on some of the technical insights being shared. Here’s what we got up to during the meetings.
