This IWD, we’re celebrating some of the inspirational women in our community and the empowering work they do for women everywhere. Amee is Director of Engineering, South Region at GoEngineer and inspired by her own experiences and her young daughter, Amee has influenced a curriculum to show young girls the opportunities available to them.

This IWD, we’re celebrating some of the inspirational women in our community and the empowering work they do for women everywhere. Julie is Chief Engineer – Engineering Quality at Jaguar Land Rover. Inspired by the first female CEO in the automotive industry, Julie has had a very successful career in the industry and is now responsible for encouraging engineers to develop the best technology with the best quality.

Betty has been with Ashley Furniture for almost 38 years and during that time has become an advocate in STEM education, working tirelessly on improving her own knowledge and sharing it with those around her too.

Sharon’s successful 30-year career in the tech sector, backed by extensive commercial and marketing expertise, has seen her hold roles at Microsoft and the BBC, Sharon is now using her knowledge and experiences to help other businesses thrive.

Registration is now open for DriveWorks World 2022. DriveWorks World is the annual technical event for DriveWorks users with an active subscription, and reseller technical staff. We love being part of the SWUG community and once again this year we wanted to recognise a leader who has stood out from the crowd. At 3DEXPERIENCE World 2022, we were proud to announce the winner of the 2021 DriveWorks Award for SWUG Leader of the Year is Kirby Downey. Kirby is the leader of the London SOLIDWORKS User Group also the SWUG Committee Representative for the UK.

Automatically Generate Additional File Formats in DriveWorks Solo
Along with generating new SOLIDWORKS Parts, Assemblies and Drawings, you can set up your DriveWorks Solo Projects so generated SOLIDWORKS files are saved in additional file formats. You may want to create a PDF version of a SOLIDWORKS Drawing so it can be sent to a customer, or you may require a DXF of a part for manufacturing.
