DriveWorks World – What Happened?

This years’ DriveWorks World took place immediately after SolidWorks World at the San Diego Convention Center. DriveWorks World gave DriveWorks Customers on Subscription Support and DriveWorks Value-Added Resellers a great opportunity to see What’s New in DriveWorks 9, network and talk about the software.

DriveWorks CEO, Glen Smith and Lead Developer Philip Stears, presented the highly anticipated new release DriveWorks 9! Performance enhancements, “embedded child specs” and the new plugin less, multi-browser 3D on the web experience, all created quite a buzz!

We were delighted too to introduce Mick Holland General Manager Eriks Industrial Products to present how his company is using DriveWorks. Mick kept the audience very well entertained. We’d all like to send a massive THANK YOU to Mick.

The General Sessions were followed by a Sales & Marketing Workshop for Resellers and Technical Sessions for Customers and Reseller Application Engineers.
There were plenty of sessions choose from:

1. Funk up your Forms

2. Deploying DriveWorks

3. 3D Workshop

4. Modeling for Automation

5. Using the DriveWorks API

6. How to use DriveWorks Specification Flow

A great lunch, provided by the San Diego Convention Center chefs, allowed everyone to get together and chat about what they had seen and heard. Then it was time for the technical tips clinic, where specific questions could be answered by our technical and development team.

All in all a brilliant event, here’s some of the great feedback we’ve had:

We hope to see you all in Orlando at DriveWorks World 2013!
