On September 14th, we hosted the 3rd meeting of DriveWorks Drivers of the year.
DriveWorks Drivers was hosted via Microsoft Teams at 3pm (BST) and 1:30pm (NZST). Hosting at different times has provided the opportunity for our global community to join at a time that suits them.
Thank you to all that attended, we had over 100 people from around the world in attendance as we shared news, stories and technical content.
DriveWorks 21 Now Available
During both meetings, we announced that DriveWorks 21 is now available to download from the MyDriveWorks Community.
Customer Presentation – Pride Conveyance
Jesse Rice, of Pride Conveyance, joined us to share how they have used DriveWorks to design a system that recognizes whether the components being configured have been generated previously, along with other great features including automating PDM Pro part numbering and user notifications.
DriveWorks Challenge
We also had our DriveWorks Sherpa, Paul Gimbel, showcasing submissions from the first two DriveWorks Challenges, including announcing the winners of the second challenge.
Jagrut Joshi from Hi-Tech Solutions was announced as the winning submission from our community. Paul also showed the winning submission from our internal team courtesy of Conor Fadden from the DriveWorks Technical Team.
The third DriveWorks Challenge was revealed, a one-dimensional optimization problem that should get everyone thinking, that is now available on the DriveWorks Learning Portal.
New Feature Focus Tech Talks
Our Technical Engagement Manager, Olive Basma-Lord gave us a rundown of the upcoming New Feature Focus Tech Talks sessions covering CPQ, Lambda Functions, 3D Preview Improvements, and PDF Integration.
