DriveWorks Drivers aims to connect DriveWorks Users from around the world, featuring guest speakers sharing experiences and encouraging questions and dialogue about the technology. During DriveWorks World 2022, we were joined by over 700 DriveWorks customers, resellers and partners from 40 different countries. Behind the cameras that brought DriveWorks World to you, there were a lot of cogs turning to bring two days of online technical learning and knowledge sharing.

Last year, we launched a new series of DriveWorks technical discussion sessions. After the sessions being such a success, we are excited to announce more sessions. Each week we’ll be chatting all about DriveWorks and deep-diving into different topics. Find out more and register to join us!

Last week, we were proud to be sponsoring the High Sheriffs Award for Digital Innovation. Digital innovation is something we’re extremely passionate about at DriveWorks, so it was great to see what other businesses across Cheshire and Warrington are achieving through digital innovation, as well as experiencing another in-person event since the pandemic. We were proud to announce Think Beyond as the winner of this year’s High Sheriff Award for Enterprise for Digital Innovation.

DriveWorks World 2022 starts this Wednesday, 30th March at 10am BST. Heather from the DriveWorks team recently shared a virtual coffee with Stephen Holmes, Editor in Chief at DEVELOP3D. During the conversation, Stephen chatted through his plans for the publication and gave his perspective on how the past two years have affected the 3D design industry.

We’ve always valued the importance of investing in our team and supporting the future of digital. DriveWorks World is the annual technical learning and networking event for DriveWorks users with active subscription. This year the event is free and online. With less than 2 weeks to go until DriveWorks World, we wanted to share with you what you can expect from this year’s all-virtual event.

Recently, we had a chance to catch up with Chinloo Lama. Chinloo is the User Experience Design Director and STEAM Outreach at Dassault Systèmes. She shared a bit of her background and how she was able to incorporate her engineering education with her creative side to help navigate a career that thus far has been truly impactful without compromising who she is. We were really excited to reconnect with our users for the first DriveWorks Drivers virtual networking meetings of the year last week. During these meetings, we hosted resellers from 2 different countries (France and New Zealand) to share DriveWorks Tips & Tricks. We had almost 80 users registered for these meetings and some really good discussions were had on some of the technical insights being offered.

A debate on the topic of the Workforce Of The Future at 3DEXPERIENCE World highlighted the need to address the manufacturing skills gap that currently exists. The group discussed how bridging the gap is the responsibility of everyone in the manufacturing industry and how we need to think outside the box to inspire young people and enable them to gain the skills and knowledge needed.
