A rare and impressive sight.
The DriveWorks team gathered outside to watch the rare phenomenon in which the sun is completely obscured by the moon.
In some parts of the UK, up to 98% of the sun was covered by the moon.
This is the first big eclipse to happen in the UK since 1996 and isn’t expected to happen again until 2026 so we didn’t want to miss it!
Our product manager, Paul, set up his camera and managed to capture the eclipse brilliantly.
